Instead of syncying system time with in-game once, it will instead sync and run real-time so it actually be felt like system time and probably help track time wihtout alt tabbing or freeing up hands to reach phone and look for the time
It could be a separate effect in case system time keeps failing the mission and will require failsafe interfierence, but this has to be chosen by one implementing the effect, i can't really tell what's better :P
