BT iPay OpenCart Payment Module is developed to integrate Banca Transilvania's BT iPay with Opencart, allowing merchants to easily accept payments. This module is designed with a focus on ease of use, security, and providing a seamless payment experience for both the merchant and their customers. Compatible with Opencart v3 or v4, this module supports various payment methods and is tailored for merchants looking to offer a robust online payment solution.
To ensure a smooth operation of the BT iPay payment module, the following requirements should be met:
- A valid Banca Transilvania account with BT iPay service activated.
- PHP 7.4 or newer,
- OpenCart v3 or v4.
- Log into Opencart admin,
- Access page Extensions \ Installer,
- Click on the upload button in the “Upload your extensions” section,
- Upload the plugin zip to the opencart installation (ipay.ocmod.zip for v3 / ipay_opencart.ocmod.zip for v4),
- Wait for the upload to complete and the file to appear in the “Install History” area,
- Install the extension by clicking the green button right of the “BT iPay” extension by accessing Extensions \ Extensions, Extension type payments.
The extension can be configured by accessing Extensions \ Extensions, selecting the extensions of type payments, scroll to BT iPay payment method from the list of methods, click edit.
