Tracing as Administrator

You can use the menu Run with PIN (Tiny Tracer) - as Administrator to elevate the traced app.

If you don't see this menu, you need to update the Tiny Tracer, then delete the menus by the script delete_menu.reg, and add them again (the updated version) by add_menu.reg. Read more about the installation.

Troubleshooting

Make sure that your Administrator account is enabled in the group policy, otherwise this feature won't work.

Example: Windows 10

In Group Policy Editor, select:

• Computer Configuration -> Windows Settings -> Security Settings -> Local Policies -> Security Options
  • Accounts: Administrator account status:Enabled
