Dubious ownership Issue

Getting this error when running job hasretsariyer/firebase-app-distribution-github-action@v1.0

fatal: detected dubious ownership in repository at '/github/workspace'
To add an exception for this directory, call:

	git config --global --add safe.directory /github/workspace

Tried running given command, but it didn't work. (Also, how setting the git config in my local machine will effect anything on github)
