Git push failing on logsec Ubuntu

git plugin fails to push. It gives this error: "push error: fatal: cannot exec 'ssh': Permission denied fatal: unable to fork"
gh installed, cloned repo using gh command
pushing with no issues in terminal

I'm getting the same error. Any ideas what might be causing it?

Same here.

Also haven't recognized the global git user.email config and had to set locally.

Recreated ssh keys, and added to the ssh agent, but didn't help.

I was also having this issue. The "fork" part of the message is not git related. It's because Logseq can't spawn ssh.

In my case the problem was restricted to the Snap version of Logseq. I installed the Flatpak version and the Git plugin works fine!

I won't tell you how long I spent trying to get it to work before stumbling across this solution.
