I'm new to Digital, and confused by what I'm seeing. I've implemented a 74ALS867A chip based on the data sheet. Then I added it to a simple circuit to test it, because I couldn't figure out how to generate a sequential test for it. It passes analysis (before it didn't; I had some unconnected inputs and unlabeled I/O, but I fixed all that), but it doesn’t seem to quite work. And if I embed it into another circuit to help with testing, I get "Error creating the circuit: There are 1 bits needed, but 8 bits found. Affected are: And, Signal ~out. Occurred in file 74867.dig". I don't know what it's referring to there. I'm fairly sure there's something wrong with it, as it's not counting when I run it on its own, but that shouldn't keep me from embedding it, should it? I've attached both files. Archive.zip |

Ah, sorry, nevermind. I had made one of my inputs 8 bits. |
