I mentioned this issue previously on SGE: daimh/sge#43
User jgabler-hpc mentioned that this change was made and tested on OCS, and it seems that it was included in the latest 9.0.6 release. However, I'm running into the same problem.
When jobs are submitted from a user with a backslash ('') in the username, the response is: Unable to run job: Backslash ('\') not allowed in objectname.
I've also tried making a user a manager in order to run qconf -auser and add the user manually. Editing the file with the new username returns: Backslash ('\') not allowed in objectname.
