IGN and Ciril Group are delighted to invite you to an iTowns Hackathon on March 13 and 14 at the french National Institute of Geographic (IGN) in Saint Mandé, France. These two days will be an opportunity to discuss, program, test and learn... And above all, have a great time together! Book your place on this wiki!

We have some ideas for this hackaton, but feel free to propose a subject of your interest! Here are the current subjects :
- Improving support for the Mapbox Vector Tile and Style specification (performance and visual alike)
- Support for the Mapbox RGB terrain format
- Experimenting with 2D vector accelerated rendering
- Enhancing TMS support in planar view: GitHub issue #2290
- Migration to TypeScript (there is a lot of work here ;))
- Experimenting with "proof of concepts" with your data and use cases
Please indicate your participation in the following table.
We're proposing a social event Thursday evening; sharing a beer (or other) together. In order to find a place where we can all meet. Please also let us know if you will be attending the evening.
