[Question] Mismatch for infinity - Expected version index: 0.6.0.dev7, connecting version: 0.6.0.dev5

Hi,

I'm setting up the infiniflow/ragflow:v0.20.5. I have changed the doc engine to infinity in .env.
When run the docker compose up -d, the logs is showing the below.
ragflow-infinity | [04:59:01.354] [25] [error] Expected version index: 0.6.0.dev7, connecting version: 0.6.0.dev5

The docker ps is showing the infinity image as correct version as below.
infiniflow/infinity:v0.6.0-dev7

Any idea why it still showing mismatch?

This version mismatch usually happens when the Infinity service inside the container is running a different version than the image tag suggests. RAGFlow and Infinity are tightly coupled—every time Infinity is updated, RAGFlow expects a matching version, and mismatches cause errors like the one you’re seeing.

Here’s what works for others in similar situations:

• Make sure your docker-compose file and .env both reference the correct Infinity image (infiniflow/infinity:v0.6.0-dev7) and a compatible RAGFlow image (for Infinity v0.6.0-dev7, you may need to use the latest or nightly RAGFlow image).
• Run docker compose down -v to remove all containers and volumes, then docker compose pull to fetch the latest images, and finally docker compose up -d to restart everything cleanly. This ensures you’re not running an old cached binary or volume that’s stuck on 0.6.0.dev5.
• If the mismatch persists, prune unused Docker images (docker image prune) and check for any running containers with docker ps -a that might be using the old version.
• Double-check your configuration files (like .env and service_conf.yaml) for any hardcoded references to the old version or incorrect host/port settings.

But what if you want to use a newer version?

Hi, I have removed everything, start from a fresh Docker still the same mismatch error.
I downgraded to v0.20.3 and infinity:v0.6.0-dev5. Now running ok.
Still not able to run for newer versison.
