Method to quickly combine catalogues?

If one has a bunch of different catalogues ( each with their own .json & .csv files and in this case created using ecgtools ) and the naming conventions are the same for all variable names and dimensions, is there a "method" or quick way to combine them all into a single catalogue that could be exported into catalogue files for the single combined set? I had the silly idea of manually editing the catalogue files but was hoping to avoid this?
