ERROR failed to auto-install CurseForge modpack Medieval MC

[lvl5-Mage]

I've been trying to get this Medieval server to run, ive tried multiple different times and always seems to get back to the ERROR failed to auto-install CurseForge modpack. Can someone find the errors in my way?

The important part of the answer was in your question 😉 Instead of using GENERIC_PACK, replace that with

    CF_PAGE_URL: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/medieval-mc-forge

You can also remove VERSION and FORGE_VERSION since they are determined from the modpack manifest.

This error is because you're using the wrong Java version. Remove the java8-multiarch image tag.
