DigitalOcean speed test domains no longer available

The DigitalOcean domains:
speedtest-$DC.digitalocean.com
are no longer resolving.

Does anyone have an alternative that doesn't involve starting your own droplets for a simple ping test?

I would be very interested in knowing a way to speed test DigitalOcean's datacenters as well 👀

the one thing i figured (and this only works for a ping test, not a speed test), is to change the ping address to their Spaces product.

and change the speedtest-$DC.digitalocean.com to $DC.digitaloceanspaces.com

worked for me, although not every datacenter has a Spaces datacenter...
