Can you make the link from a marker open in new tab?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but when you have a marker linked to a note it automatically opens in the current tab when you click on it. Is there any way to change this? I'd like it to automatically open the link in a new tab but couldn't find anything relating to this in the settings
