Wiihero.exe bug - constant pressing & incorrect mapping

Hi, having this weird bug that tends to resolve itself after restarting wiihero.exe and unplugging arduino multiple times but basically when connecting to the arduino it maxes out the whammy and thinks I'm holding down strum & plus button (it also thinks up strum is green?)

Not too sure what could be causing it but any insight would be appreciated :)

I have experienced this myself as well, this usually happened to me when I plugged in the Arduino BEFORE connecting the guitar to the Arduino.

I think this causes a communication error between the guitar and the Arduino and I did not have any idea on how to detect it yet. Pressing the 'reset' button on the Arduino usually fixes it for me.

I'll leave this issue open in the case anyone has input on this, but don't expect a change on this soon.
