findpapers failing to retreive ACM papers

With the query ([unsupervised]) AND ([deep learning] OR [neural network]) AND [segmentation], there was no result from ACM.

While almost 2000 from IEEE and SCOPUS.

I faced the same issue, and while I prefer not to modify the source code, it is one of those times to do so. I updated heavily the acm_searcher.py and a bit the search_runner_tool.py, especially for debugging and info logging.

Note: I also use the findpapers 0.6.7 version.

Do you guys still have this problem? The ACM doesn't have an API, so the search is scrapping-based. From time to time, I need to modify something to make it work properly.

I still have this problem: ACM is not retrieving anything. Please help!
Every query I do, I get this result:

You guys are right. I tried today and had to modify the code, but I keep failing because of Cloudflare, and I don't want to pass over it.

In my case, I ended up adding a fallback to OpenAlex that allows me to filter by ACM. I keep IEEE and Scopus because the keys allow me to retrieve the information directly.
