Keypoints will not export unless there is segmentation data

The keypoints in the export file will not be available unless segmentation has been added to the image. 0 of X images annotated in the dataset when keypoints have been added. @jsbroks

This might be an issue with the logging not the file. Have you check the exports to see if they contain the keypoints even if the dont have segments?

When annotating keypoints only the dataset page says that 0 have been annotated. When I check the export there is no data for keypoints. However, if i add a random shape from segmentation and re-export it will show the keypoints in the exported JSON file.

As a side note, when you are on the view that shows all the datasets it will show how many have been annotated (i.e. 5 of 62 annotated images). When i only add keypoints to an image it will never count as an annotated image. It will always show "0 of 62 annotated images" @jsbroks

Yes , it saving only empty value inside keypoints array.

Same here: on 0.10.6 I still see the problem with keypoints not being saved without segmentation.
I also don't see any commit specifically mentioning this issue (unless I missed it).

@jsbroks are the release notes correct (and hence something is wrong on our end) or this issue is still open? Thanks!

Yep keypoints aren't being saved at all, going forward an image and then back an image shows all keypoints discarded and none saved to either JSON or shown in the datasets page.
