JQuery Version compatability with JCarousel v0.3.9

Hi, 

I have JQuey v 1.11.1 and I don't know if it is compatible with the latest version of the JCarousel. I don't find the information elsewhere.

I get this error: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'plugin') - "$.jCarousel.plugin('jcarouselAutoscroll', {".  I am using laravel 4.2.
