Volume shows up everytime i screenshot

What happened that you did not expect?

So I started having this issue since i upgraded to One UI 8.0 on my Samsung S24, where the volume would show up everytime i screenshot, I found the cause being the keymapps i have because i mapped my volume keys to change to the next/previous track, i turned off the volume keymapps and it didnt show the volume everytime i screenshoted anymore after that

What did you expect to happen?

The mappings i applied to the volume buttons still work as intended, but it bugs me that everytime i screenshot the volume shows up.

What would the developer need to do to reproduce the bug?

1. Create 2 triggers: "Long press volume up/down"
2. Set actions for both: "Next/Previous track"
3. After that everytime you take a screenshot the volume shows up (at least on my model)

This seems to be a bug introduced by Android 16 hence why you just noticed it. I also never noticed it before and it doesn't seem to happen on LineageOS Android 15. There is no 100% reliable or ideal solution to this problem because the system sends the key events to the accessibility service as if nothing happened. I can try and detect the screenshotting by other means (TYPE_ANNOUNCEMENT accessibility events) but I'd have to add a delay for at least 500ms every time a trigger fails.

I'm going to let this issue bake for a while because the solution may potentially be more disruptive. It seems like the screenshot happens before the volume dialog is shown so it doesn't show up at least. Maybe it will be fixed in Android 17.

Maybe the cause of our issues are different but it is suspicious that it happened after you updated to Android 16 so its probably a different cause to what they had 4 years ago. Also, the only workaround I can come up with is not guaranteed to work on all skins of Android 16. I only have stock Android 16 to test with.
