Description
When using the mod assistant, one installs and activates a mod by checking it off. With other mod managers i've experienced, there's a way to keep the mod downloaded but deactivated, oftentimes by unchecking it from the list used to activate it, or for modloaders/managers where activation is a separate state from download prep, removing it from the activated category
Would it be possible to look at having mods be able to be deactivated without needing to completely uninstall them, to make debugging which mod is causing an issue easier? This would allow users to be able to troubleshoot and deactivate mods, and be able to have a visual indicator (the Installed version number being displayed) to know which mods they've been using previously
Potential workflow for deactivation:
User unchecks box, clicks "Install or Update" button. Mod is then moved from say the Mods folder to Mods-Deactivated folder, allowing the MelonAssistant to keep track of them still.
Potential workflow for reactivation:
When box is checked, MA checks if the mod already exists in Mods-Deactivated, if so, move to Mods folder to reactivate, else download new copy and install
