Illuminate/Foundation composer.json?

Hi! Sorry if this is obvious but is there a specific reason why Illuminate/Foundation doesn't have a composer.json file anymore? Maybe it was redundant because it calls every other package and we'd better require laravel/framework altogether?

Just curious, rand into this issue while upgrading an old app.
