Plugin request, to show local images as a panel

Hello Everyone,

I am looking or planning to develop a plugin which would allow users to add local images as a panel. I see that there is a blank panel plugin already available which uses svg to display the image but I would need something more dynamic and which doesn't required building it everytime when an image is changed, something like the urdf plugin.

If someone already implemented it, please do share the repo or maybe some ideas to make it a usable plugin for community.

Hi @sam-tj sorry for the late reply. To create such panel please use: https://github.com/Lichtblick-Suite/create-lichtblick-extension
With this project you can create a new extension/plugin, and the new custom extension is a react project, therefore you can do whatever you need, including loading and showing your image, but you'll need to develop this logic using react.
