Feature request - storing reports from downloads/imports

Importing sometimes takes too long and my colleagues miss out on the report and failed fields.

Would it be possible to store the latest result by default for later?

Hello @devanced, thank you for your feature request - it's really a good one!

I'm writing this down, will discuss the solution with my colleagues, and eventually add this to our pipeline.
This could come in really handy in case of actions triggered via web hooks (but not only!).

We recently released an updated version, and I believe this might help you at least a little bit.

In this version, upload & download requests are newly non-blocking, and communication happens over web sockets. This way, you're up-to-date in the UI with the entry that's being processed at the moment.

As usual, you can always check on the missed report in your Strapi server console logs.
