Iconizing the app with number of unread articles

I am looking for a way or a plugin that when you click on the X in the program, instead of closing it iconizes in the systray and that shows the number of unread articles that are coming in. Does it exist, where I can see?

There is a tray icon plugin. It also supports the number of items.

Please check in the menu under "Tools" -> "Manage Plugins"

This is a known problem caused by GNOME base libraries. A solution was implemented with the latest 1.16-RC3 release. Please upgrade!

How? not even the menu Tools > Update Monitor works and the official repository on Xubuntu 25.04 has just 1.15.8

Please note when using OpenSource SW you get support for installed distro packages from your distro XUbuntu (Ubuntu), you only get support at the project for using the most recent release.
