Is it possible to complete the shrine quest directly?

I tried the “unlock all shrines” feature and successfully completed all shrines, but the quest I selected did not finish. I then applied the solution from issue #422, which fixed the bug that caused progress to get stuck, but it still did not instantly complete all shrine quests and I have to finish them manually.
