TOTK: Master Sword Not showing up in inventory

Like the title says I tried to add the regular master sword to my inventory but, it does not appear.

Do you already have the Master Sword in your inventory?
I know that based on item duplication glitches, when you dupe the Master Sword then save & load the game, it removes the dupes. Could be that prior to loading the game, the save file indeed did have the master sword in your inventory, but once the save file is loaded, it gets removed immediately.
