Watch 7 face buttons issue. Watch 4 and 7 playlist issue

I have both these watches. Wanted to report that in watch7 skip next using the buttons is ignored for returning to the watch menu. I have also not been able to ever get playlist to work. Is there no way to fix that? Is there any foss apps that for sure work with playlists i can try? I am streaming from my phone. The playlist always shows as blank. In addition this app struggles to start text to speach playback in audio e readers like AL reader. The app is still very useful even without these problems but i hope for support.

I'm not sure, it's up to the app. But that functionality is very rare.

Thats a shame. Id like to keep the watch 7 since the bettery life is great. Ill do some more testing. I find that the face button is superior to the touch screen which updates very infrequently at the rate i like to press next.

Is your bottom button set to "Go to previous screen"?

Is that a thing in options or settings somewhere? I set my button only to skip tracks in the apps on every screen

This option should be somewhere in the watch's settings app

I found the option. The available options are see all apps or go to previous screen. Neither changes the behavior of the app at all

Then it's possible that Samsung has patched this out and feature will no longer work on the newer watches :(
