I was excited to find a free dictionary API, but in the process of using it I found that the results it returned were too inaccurate. In the case of the word "outlet", for example, the phonetic alphabet and pronunciation of the results("phonetic": "/ˈaʊtlɛt/") were incorrect and different from the phonetic alphabet given by an authoritative dictionary (such as Cambridge Dictionary: UK/ˈaʊt.let/ US/ˈaʊt.let/). Not to mention many common words (such as "phase") are missing, so I have to deprecate this API.
