The start menu looks the same whether I enable/disable it. Is it supposed to look like how it did in Win 10, or like my screenshot? |

Yes this is normal because you have the entire recommended section removed from the start menu. If you had the recommended section, setting the layout to more pins would shift the recommended section down a little, to show more pins. |
