You can install it from a local repository or package it yourself. edit: Ideally it should be merged.

This is the exact reason, why I hate third party npm packages so much. Maintainer like @mhnpd just don't care anymore and abandon projects.

This was already fixed in PR #191 as well as having automatic dependency update capability through Mend Renovate.
