GOLD and NEON ETLs should use INSDC standards for country names #1282
Description
We have decided to adopt INSDC standards for country names, documented by this ADR. This ticket to determine how to implement this in the GOLD and NEON ETL scripts
@turbomam had previously tested modeling which separated out country, region, and locality in microbiomedata/nmdc-schema#2308. The PR was never merged in but is something to consider for this exercise.
