Further support of this library

Hi,

I just wanted to ask, if this library is still managed by someone and will get any other support and new releases. As I know @M65649 has left the company and the latest release was last year. If there won't be any support from the Microchip side, will be there a successor library and or board? I am looking forward for all kind of assumption and answer.

As far as I know (when speaking to some of my former colleagues), there won't be any further support for this unfortunately. It's gone a year since I left and things might have changed (I would very much welcome further support on this project), but I would not get my hopes up. Sorry for any inconveniences that might bring... I really liked working on this project and I still think it is in an OK state, but I don't have the time to maintain this in my free time.

thank you so much for your answer, even when you are not responsible for this project anymore! I think no one is expecting you to maintain this library in your freetime. We are going to contact Microchip, together with our development partner, so we can maybe discuss our further developments with them.
