Can't add fine-grained token for the repo

Restrict the token's permissions: Under Permissions, click Account tab, and click the "+ Add permissions" button. A dropdown will appear. Please search for Models and check the box for it.

Since this is about GitHub, here are a few things we can check and try:

• GitHub recently introduced a models:read permission for fine-grained tokens to access the Models feature. If that permission isn’t included or available in your view, the “Models” option might not show.
• The organization or repository settings might be restricting which scopes are visible in fine-grained tokens. Check the org’s PAT policy or settings (some orgs can disable the ability to grant certain scopes).
• When creating the token, ensure you're switching the “Resource owner” dropdown (user vs org) — sometimes the UI shows different scope sets depending on that.
• As a fallback, try using a classic personal access token with broader scopes. That often still works even when fine-grained options are missing.
• It might also be a UI update or bug — try creating the token in a different browser, incognito mode, or clearing cache.
