Bug Fixes

• We've resolved a source of deadlocks on console session handoff (Fix a handoff deadlock if layout completes synchronously #18676)
• The Japanese names for Split Tab and Rename Tab have been improved (Localization Updates - main - 02/13/2025 03:05:04 #18569) (thanks @consvc!)

ConPTY

• ConPTY will now tear down properly if you close its pipes while it is starting up (ConPTY: Fix shutdown if killed during startup #18588)
• ConPTY will no longer hang on startup if you do not provide a well-formed response to DA1 (Fix a ConPTY startup hang with 0-param DA1 responses #18681)

The issue occurs in this release(v1.22.10731.0). So I reported it here.

If Terminal is crashing automatically, then a post-mortem dump would be more helpful. A post-mortem one should get us the stack when the Terminal actually crashed, rather than one before it did.

Looking for the admx files for Terminal, which according to this https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/terminal/group-policy should be here in the assets. Any idea where to find these?

Ah, it appears I failed to upload these for 1.22.10731.0.

They're available on the prior release (https://github.com/microsoft/terminal/releases/tag/v1.22.10352.0) and have not changed since then.
