What is the right way to connect specific namespace??

what is the correct way to connect specific namespace... I am trying to have connection with different namespace with different params...

I tried below code and it didn't worked for me...

@sio.on('connect', namespace='/chat')
async def connect(sid, environ, auth):
    print('connected')
    await sio.emit('my_response', {'data': 'Connected', 'auth': auth}, room=sid)

@sio.event(namespace='/chat')
async def connect(sid, environ, auth):
    print('connected')
    await sio.emit('my_response', {'data': 'Connected', 'auth': auth}, room=sid)

client side looks like this... (HTML file with javascript)

I think you are mixing instructions for the Python and JavaScript libraries. In the client there is no namespaces option, the namespace is given as part of the connection URL.
