Let's begin with; test driven development

TDD is the acronym for Test Driven Development - it represents the foundation on which we build our code and provides a safety net to help catch code that has ceased to work, maybe due to an unrelated update or unnoticed typo.

As a community, let's discuss both positive and negative attributes of TDD and, in the short term (as negatives are absent right now), try to adopt a "test-first" approach to our coding efforts.
