Where does the music save to?

Hello,

When the music downloads, where does it save to? Do you have to modify the save location or anything? Or am I an idiot, and this is not what this [software, command line thingy whatever you call it] does?

Hi there, by default, freyr downloads the songs to the current directory.

But you can change the directory freyr saves to by using the -d, --directory <DIR> flag.

That's very odd, I've never experienced this issue. And I just tested the -d flag again and it seems to be working as expected.

How about you open an issue with screenshots or pasted text of what these tests show:

Note: Replace ls with dir and pwd with echo %cd% if either of those commands are unavailable.

Assuming we're writing to the C:\Media folder

1. We're in the C:\Media (this should download to the directory):

$ cd C:\Media
$ pwd
$ ls
$ freyr spotify:track:5FNS5Vj69AhRGJWjhrAd01
$ ls

2. We're not in the C:\Media folder:

$ ls C:\Media
$ freyr -d C:\Media spotify:track:5FNS5Vj69AhRGJWjhrAd01
$ ls C:\Media
$ ls

In the meantime, I'll try to get access to a Windows system to attempt reproducing this.

As you can see there, the output directory is still null. Trying the second option, however, gives me the error "[!] Working directory [C:\Media] doesn't exist."

After doing some research about Docker, I believe that Docker is made for Linux (apparent by having to download a linux subsystem or whatever its called), so I wouldn't doubt that it is an issue with Windows specifically. I also had to enable virtualisation on my CPU in order for it to work as well.

Hey there, please clarify what this is in the command: -v ${[password]}:/data

In your case, since you're using docker, it'll have to be this:

Well okay, the PWD part wasn't my password............... it turns out that "PWD" stands for "Print Working Directory," I probably should have researcehd that before running the command
