ftp not working

i really love this extension, sftp working like a charm. i just wish i could get ftp working.
i was able to browse the file system once or twice but 99% of the time it wont load the directory.

also i cant find anything useful in the logs.

i cant find a similar extension which does the same thing.

It kind of suck that u have to open and close vs code million times until it loads.
