pLannotate is currently incompatible with any version of Python later than 3.10. There is less than one year until Python 3.10's end-of-life. It would be great if we could keep pLannotate running on current versions of Python.
I haven't done a full accounting of which dependencies are holding pLannotate back, but it seems to include at least bokeh and streamlit. Possibly others. I'm happy to help track down these dependencies and provide updates that maintain backwards compatibility but also enable newer versions of Python.
