Codelenses not working

I installed haskell-tools on top of a fresh kickstarter.nvim. I′m trying to get codelenses for function types, but nothing is showing up. I tried replicating the first gif screencast in the README: While I get the hint "()" behind Data.Maybe, I get no hint for the sayHello function.

Thank you! checkhealth shows everything is fine. This is not a bug, I think the problem is with my nvim configuration. Basically it's not showing codelenses

By default, haskell-tools should be setting up autocommands to auto-refresh code lenses.
If you have that disabled, you need to set it up yourself.
Of course, code lenses also won't show up if you have issues with the LSP client or if haskell-language-server can't build your project (see the troubleshooting section).
You can also use :checkhealth vim.lsp and :Hls log subcommands.

found the problem, using your suggestion to troubleshoot with minimal.lua: once i delete the plugin nvim-lspconfig, the codelenses work. I unfortunately use that plugin for other languages though

You can use lspconfig. Just make sure you (and mason-lspconfig) don't set up hls.
