Hey @Ekaanth,

It can be easily done by passing $event to the onClick in the markup.

And then emitting it inside onClick.

You are welcome to submit a PR if you like and I will push it to NPM.

But keep an eye on #55 (the new api) as it is already implemented there and will be released soon.
