If you aren't familiar with an iceberg meme, the concept of an "iceberg" meme is an off-beat and some might even argue "fun" way to provide a survey of the depth of a topic. They often go with this picture of an iceberg:
For instance, here is an iceberg meme for what appears to be SQL:
As far as I am concerned, Prolog has more depth than any language I have ever been exposed to -- which is very surprising given how easy it is to write a vanilla meta-interpreter.
I would love to start gathering ideas for such a Prolog iceberg. I am afraid that my knowledge stops about just below the surface, so I am hoping folks here have some good ideas!
Thoughts so far:
Above the iceberg
Tip of the iceberg
Just below the surface
One layer down, the shallows
library(cont)Two layers down, getting dark
Three layers down, last rays of light
Staring into the abyss
(scryer specific)
'$toplevel''$loader'The abyss
Deeper still
call/NThe gates of hell
Circles of hell...
I will try to keep this list up to date along with names and contributors! Eventually we can make some fun social media out of it :)
