Improved Area Boundaries, Device Readability, Export Enhancements & Metadata Options

Hi all,
I’d like to suggest/discuss several feature requests that could greatly improve usability and clarity for diagrams and exports.
We are currently implementing the plugin and we are facing some issues and would like to ask about your opinion:

One of the options could help here:

1. Text Readability across Area Boundaries:
   Hostnames are sometimes displayed across area boundaries, which can make them hard to read. Improved labeling or text handling would help.
2. Movable Area Boundaries (Independent or in Background):
   Please allow area boundaries to be moved independently from devices, or display boundaries in the background so that cables and devices always appear in the foreground.
3. Padding for Devices:
   Add an option for padding so that devices are not placed too close to area boundaries, improving their readability.

What do you think about this?

Small addition - currently, boundary lines are lost when exporting to XML.
Can this be fixed?
