Cut a release?

@SteveLauC I wonder if we're fine to cut a release for nix.

I'd like to add an entry in fasyslog that:

For calling the system library, you can use nix::syslog

... and add a link to the docs.rs page. But I just noticed that the last release was made about one year ago.
