Surface 3 (not pro) requires nomodeset to boot

Sorry, I ended up waiting for the kernel fix for suspend/hibernate, and then ended up dropping the project.

understandable this is last thing preventing it from being day to day usable for me. which is annoying.

looks like the bug has been closed, hopefully it will be merged into mainline soon
