No, I am afraid not. I considered not showing it, but there are two good reasons to always do it:

  • It reduces flicker when navigating up/down through completion candidates. I.e. it makes info window always shown.
  • It shows feedback that info about current completion candidate was already computed and that there is no info to show. In contrast, showing no window introduces a slight moment of contemplation if there was no info window shown already ("is computation done and there is nothing to show or is it not yet done?").
