Hello to everyone who cares about the oVirt project. I think many will be interested in understanding the possibilities for developing this and other oVirt repositories. As you know, terraform is one of the leading IAC providers and today the lack of the ability to normally and fully add changes to this repository is very upsetting for community members and just caring people. I would like to hear from someone who can confirm pull requests, conduct reviews, and evaluate the work of the community. I do not quite understand why the developers are forced to fork this repository and make useful and very necessary changes (initialization via static IP, ovirt_vnic_profile, updates, etc.), and at the same time they do not have the opportunity to contribute them to the main oVirt repository? Maybe it's time to somehow unite and organize work on updating this cool product? I really want to talk to people who are truly not indifferent to this project. As for my contribution, I have a fairly modern cluster, on which, if possible, you can check the normal operation of oVirt products. There are also HCI clusters in production, which are successfully operating to this day. I think with a healthy approach, you can supplement oVirt projects with the necessary functionality, which in turn will give impetus to its use on a large scale. Do not forget that there are many enterprises and organizations that need a high-quality virtual infrastructure, but at the same time they do not have the opportunity to use OpenShift /OKD/Kubernetes for applications, and their policies often prohibit them from using cloud infrastructure. Therefore, I believe that we need to take more active steps, in particular in this repository, to support the project. Thank you very much for understanding!
