Hello :)
first of all, thank you very much for your work and providing this package as open source.
We have incorporated it and are happily using it in a experimental scientific environment at a Technical University located in Germany. Your software helps us to improve data usage and traceability of the (meta-)data generated by test-stands.

Currently we are in the final stages of the writing of a open scientific publication and are looking for a scientifically accurate way to cite your software and pay you credit.

Therefore the question, is your software indexed in some kind of open data and/or software repository like Zenodo (https://about.zenodo.org/) ?
A mentionable example we like is that of the rdflib package (https://github.com/RDFLib/rdflib). There is a 'Cite this repository' button in the information of the repository that leads to the publication at Zenodo.
The nice thing about uploading datasets and/or software there is to get a DOI. That DOI should be resolveable as long as Zenodo exists, therefore enabling scientific best practices.

If you don't want to upload your software package at Zenodo please tell us how you would like your software to be cited.

Thank you very much in advance for your time :)
If you would like to know more about how we use your uuid6 software package in our research please feel free to ask :)

Yours sincerely
