API support

Hi, I believe I just cheked to get the issues.json API listing and the vote_up and vote_down fields does not appear,

would it be too complicate to add them?
or could you give me a bit how to do so? I am a python dev and I think I can find my way out in ruby and rails to be able to find how to do so.

Not yet, I was thinking to directly having an script that could read the bbdd fields from the plugin and extract it. But it was simpler to ended up using some other plugin to add optional buttons to change the status of an issue, and was able to read the status of the issue via API.

Hm, how does changing the status allow voting?

in my cases was not that much about voting, but about validating some redmine issues. and I added some 'custom button' plugin to place a 'Validate' button... which turns the status from normal to Validated... and if pushed again, it moves to Validated+... and then back to "Validated" and then to Validated+...

from the normal APi I can read the historial of status and who moved them... so it's a trick to sort of find out who voted for the issue.....
a bit complicate if u want to also vote negatively...
