Confirm the current Steering Council membership and update all listings to reflect one source of truth #39
Description
As a steering council, we have identified inconsistencies in our membership listings.
To complete this card, we should
- Reach a consensus on who is currently an active steering council member according to the governance repo
- Contact any non-active members according to the governance document
- Identify all listings of steering council members
- Define the relationship between steering council membership and GitHub membership/permissions for the ODC Organization account
- Review member/owner permissions in GitHub
- Update member listing, remove people that are no longer active contributors
- Add rules about GitHub membership/permissions to the governance repo
- Update relevant listings and remove irrelevant listings
- Update GitHub memberships
- Decide the single source of truth and record this in the governance repo
- Update the governance repo with instructions for when new members join and existing members leave
