OCT 2025 Code Sprint

The following items were discussed for the OCT 2025 code sprint:

• Test OGC API - Records - Part 2: Facets
• Test OGC API - Records - Part 3: Create, Replace, Update, Delete and Harvest
• Work on a GeoDCAT profile for OGC API Records
• Investigate support for ISO 19115-4.

Some more info on the 3rd item: 1 or more colleagues from Geonovum will be working on the specification of a DCAT (or DCAT-AP) profile for OGC API Records, and during the code sprint would focus on the discussion and the actual creation of a profile.

We would like to use the OGC Building Blocks CI/CD framework to build the profile(s).

Using the Building Blocks CI/CD framework also helps to provide real-world experience in the adoption of the framework for Building Block creation and the challenges using the framework.

This proposal builds on the work presented by Niels Hoffmann in the Metacat DWG track during the OGC Merida meeting.
